Janet Selover, President and Founder
Janet is very active in the billing world and is currently serving on two boards through the HBMA (Healthcare Billing & Management Association). Focusing on areas where providers may have needs, such as coding, education and Accounts Receivable, Janet has become a leader in the industry.
William (Barry) Selover, Vice President
Barry joined the PBMS team in 2012 after retiring from two successful careers. One was in the U.S. Air Force, where he served for 21 years as a master sergeant leading a large team. The other was with UPS, where he retired after 15 years. Barry brings his leadership skills and experience to the team of managers as well as the entire billing team. He also creates our internal monthly reports for the company KPIs and watches for trends and changes that may affect provider outcomes.
Desmond Meridian, Chief Operating Officer
Desmond has an extensive background with payors, systems, software, and contracting as well as management. Coming from the payor side of things, he brings an important perspective to our management staff. As COO, Desmond facilitates the implementation of new systems and processes. PBMS makes it a priority to be on the cutting edge of new technology and management skills, and Desmond plays a key role in making that happen.
Kimberly Miller, Accounts Receivable Manager
Kim joined PBMS in 2011 with 12 years of experience in the medical billing field. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, she excelled and became the Supervisor of her own teams. With the constant changes in the medical billing industry, Kim’s ability to broaden her knowledge and bring that to her teams made her the perfect fit to be part of our Management Team. As Accounts Receivable Manager, she oversees all of our AR and medical billing teams and communicates with our providers to ensure we maintain the high standard of service that PBMS is known for.
Ashley VanPetten, Payment Processes Manager
Ashley first started her career in Medical Office Administration in 2010 and focused on insurance AR and payment posting. As she continued to grow, she moved into Quality Assurance performing audits in the payment department. With all her skills she became a Training Specialist and led various classes covering all aspects of Billing. She joined PBMS in 2017 as our Data/Operation Specialist. As PBMS has grown, so has Ashley and in 2022 she joined our Management Team as our Payment Processes Manager.
Nirmala Singh, Account Receivable Manager
Nirmala joined the PBMS team in 2016 with 26 years of experience in the medical billing field. She has experience on both sides of billing, working as a claims examiner for two years and then for 17 years in the ambulance industry. There she held several positions, including QA trainer, Contracts Supervisor and Government Billing Manager, and now is bringing her expertise in these various experiences to PBMS where she will continue to streamline processes to meet the provider’s needs.
Sheryl Cole, Marketing Manager
Sheryl has four decades of experience in sales, client service, and marketing related to medical billing as well as other industries. She focuses on building personal connections based on regular contact and face-to-face meetings. Sheryl knows those connections create trust and confidence and lead to more efficient communication.
Aaron Stewart, EnrollmentDepartment Manager
Aaron has been working in Healthcare for the past 16 years. He started with Blue Cross/Blue Shield and he moved onto Meritain Health. He left the insurance company side of healthcare and advanced to McKesson as a Provider Enrollment Specialist before joining PBMS in 2019 as an Enrollment Specialist. Aaron’s knowledge of the payers’ needs and his ability to details expedites the enrollment process. His communication skills with the payer and the provider prove to be invaluable. PBMS was proud to promote Aaron to Manager of our Enrollment Department at the beginning of 2022.
Stefanee Pace, Coding Division Director
Stefanee has more than 20 years of multi-specialty coding and auditing experience, including physician education. She has helped PBMS become the industry leader in coding and physician education. She works closely with our providers on any issues related to their coding questions. Stefanee helps them stay compliant and knowledgeable about coding issues and changes within their specialty. She also manages coding audits for clients.
